Ron Jackson

Production Manager

Ron Jackson was born in 1935 in Brentford, London.

His first connection with Hammer was as production manager on Dracula AD72 (1972). This led to a flurry of further work for the company including That’s Your Funeral (1973) in which he can also be seen as a mourner during the opening credits.

He also worked on films for Hammer’s rival companies, Tyburn and Tigon, before working as production manager on every episode of Hammer’s two 1980’s television anthologies Hammer House of Horror (1980) and Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense (1984). He died in 1993 in Hillingdon, London.
