Footnotes
American actor Robert Webber was not a sufficiently high-power name to spark much box-office interest in this unsuccessful addition to Hammer’s catalogue of psychological thrillers.
Composer, Don Banks was used occasionally by Hammer as an alternative to James Bernard. His other musical contributions for them are to Captain Clegg (1962), Nightmare (1963), The Evil of Frankenstein (1964), The Brigand of Kandahar (1965), Rasputin – the Mad Monk (1966), The Reptile (1966) and The Mummy’s Shroud (1966). On one occasion, the two men both provided music for the same film – Amicus’s Torture Garden (1967).
