Betta St John also starred with Hammer favourite Christopher Lee in the 1960 horror “The City of the Dead”.

William Franklyn’s one other appearance  for Hammer was in 1973’s “The Satanic Rites of Dracula”, but was probably best known for the “Schhh… You Know Who” television adverts for Schweppes from 1965 to 1973.

The was Mandy Miller’s last film, although she continued acting in various roles for television until 1963.

The film was premiered onboard the Queen Elizabeth in May 1958, before its general release on 7th July 1958.
