Renée Glynne
Renée Alma Galler was born on 3 August 1926 in Hackney, London.
She started in Scenario Department at Welwyn Studios and Pinewood. She was Production Secretary on Brief Encounter (1946) and Caesar and Cleopatra (1945) at Denham Studios. She first went on floor as Asst Continuity on While the Sun Shines (1947) at Shepperton. Her first screen credit was for Brass Monkey (1948), at the age of twenty (still under her maiden name). Worked on many of the early Hammer Films, and has been a familiar sight on Film Sets across Britain and Europe ever since.
Renée Glynne died 6 April 1922, she was 95.
