Storyline
On the day before her birthday, Professor Fuchs gives his daughter Margaret a beautiful ring adorned with a huge ruby. Margaret has been suffering nightmares in which she sees herself laying in a sarcophagus, on her severed hand the very ring she has just been given. It transpires that the ring was found in the tomb of an ancient Egyptian queen, Tera, discovered and opened at the very moment of Margaret’s birth. Now, it seems that an astral conjunction is about to occur which will herald the rebirth of the evil, long-dead Tera…..

Footnotes
Two tragedies occurred during the making of this film. First, after just one day’s shooting, Peter Cushing had to pull out as his wife was taken seriously ill. She died a few days later, a loss from which the actor never recovered. His role in this film was taken by Andrew Keir.
Then, secondly, a week before filming was due to end, the director, Seth Holt, died after suffering a heart attack. The film was completed by Michael Carreras.
Valerie Leon had appeared in a couple of “Carry On” films, but was most noted for her appearance in the Hai Karate after-shave advertisements.
Details were complied viewing the actual film.
